BOOSTER NEWS
Come Support MAXTRAVAGANZA
(May 19,2013) A few years ago the Max Schewitz Foundation began providing free EKG testing to high school students. Our students have been the beneficiaries of this testing ever since (our students will be tested this year on October 23.) To fund this enormous effort, the Foundation holds an annual fundraiser. Mary Campobasso has usually been the coordinator from the Booster Club perspective in terms of getting volunteers to work the event or donate to the event, and we’ve appreciated the community’s support.
This year’s MAXTRAVAGANZA fundraiser is coming up on June 22 at Lake Forest Sportscars from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Based on a generous donation to the Foundation from the Parent’s Association, we don’t need volunteers or contributions this year. Instead, we simply are looking for a few good folks who would like to visibly show Glenbrook South’s support for the Foundation by using the 16 tickets we have for this wonderful event.
If you would like to attend, please email me at dalesailer@gmail.com. Again, there is no cost to attend as the tickets are already paid for. The tickets are, in essence, first come first served.
